The Home Care Aide Training Certificate is an online 75-hour basic training program approved by the Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS).
The 75-hr HCA Training Certificate can be achieved online in two ways:

ABOUT
Healthcare professionals working in an assisted living facility (ALF) or adult family home (AFH) who provide care to clients living with a mental illness or dementia, are required to complete training in care specialties. (click here to learn more about this WA regulation)
We offer certification in four specialty training topics; mental health, dementia, diabetes, and traumatic brain injury.

These courses are virtual instructor-led training courses with virtual proctored final exams.
Technology requirements include a strong internet connection, a webcam, a microphone, and access to a laptop or desktop computer.

ABOUT
Home care aides (HCAs) and nursing assistants (NACs/NARs) working in a residential care facility or as an independent provider (IP) for a home-care agency or through the COPES program, must complete additional, required training to accept nurse-delegated tasks.
We offer certification in two nurse delegation training topics; Nurse Delegation and Nurse Delegation Focus on Diabetes.
These online courses are on-demand eLearning with virtual proctored final exams.
