Caregiver Continuing Education Online
Continuing education for Home Care Aides (HCAs) in Washington State is required each year to keep your HCA license active. All Long-Term Care Workers (LTCWs)—including HCAs, NACs, and NARs—must complete 12 hours of CE to stay in compliance with state requirements.
These hours apply to caregivers working in assisted living facilities (ALFs), adult family homes (AFHs), home care agencies, and to individual providers (IPs) supporting clients in private homes. All CE courses meet Washington State guidelines and are designed to be completed at your own pace.
Our goal is to make CE meaningful and practical. That’s why our courses focus on essential skills used in daily activities, including first aid, communication, emergency response, and end-of-life care. Each class offers clear instruction, practical tools, and real-world strategies that help caregivers recognize signs of change, support patients safely, and deliver exceptional care with confidence. Every course is self-paced and includes a certificate of completion based on a state-approved curriculum.
