This course helps caregivers understand the importance of maintaining their own emotional, mental, and physical well-being while supporting others. Learners will explore common causes of stress and caregiver burnout, along with practical self-care strategies such as setting boundaries, managing stress, building healthy habits, and finding positive emotional outlets. The course emphasizes the importance of self-care in maintaining long-term health and providing quality care to clients.


The second part of the course focuses on grief and loss. Learners will examine different types of loss commonly experienced by clients and caregivers, the grieving process, and common emotional responses to grief. The course also provides strategies for supporting clients and families through grief with compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
