Virtual Class and Skills Labs Calendars
Our Specialty Training courses, which include a variety of courses such as Mental Health, Dementia, and Adult Education, are held in a virtual classroom.​ These courses are led by one of our certified instructors. We offer multiple sessions a month, so you can register for a session date that is most convenient for you.​
Note: The final exam for these courses are proctored online. To take this course, you must meet all the technical requirements.

Virtual Skills Lab
Core Basic 200 Virtual Skills Labs provides you the opportunity to practice personal care skills in the safety and comfort of your own home.

This 16-hour virtual skills lab course contains video demonstrations of skills, downloadable pdf resources, a student discussion board, a daily live chat room with an instructor, and live virtual skills labs support with an instructor.

You are required to video record yourself performing skills and upload the video for review by an instructor.​
This course is WA DSHS approved for 16 hours of Core Basic training.
In-Person Skills Lab
In-Person Skills Labs are only held in Spokane, Vancouver, Olympia, and Mountlake Terrace, WA.

They consist of a two-day training session with our training partners. These labs are available for the following HCA Learning Plans:
