This program prepares caregivers to become a certified Home Care Aide (HCA), a required credential for working in Washington State long-term care settings. It covers the full 75-hour HCA training requirement with a focus on Nurse Delegation.
75-Hour HCA Training: Nurse Delegation Focus is best suited for caregivers working in home care or private-duty settings, or for those who have already completed Mental Health and Dementia training. It is available with virtual skills labs or in-person skills labs.
This option is ideal for students who want hands-on, in-person skills training in a group setting alongside their coursework.

Skills for this program are taught in person, with locations only available in Lakewood, Mountlake Terrace, Olympia, Renton, Sequim, Spokane, and Vancouver.
Upon completion, students will receive a DSHS 75-hour Home Care Aide (HCA) certificate.
