HCA Certification Program: Mental Health Focus (In-Person Skills Labs)
Price: $694.00
In-person skills labs are currently available in Lakewood, Mountlake Terrace, Olympia, Renton, Sequim, Spokane, and Vancouver.
Formerly known as Learning Plan 3b.
This program is designed for caregivers who have already completed Orientation & Safety training and need to complete the remaining requirements to become a certified Home Care Aide (HCA) in Washington State.
The HCA Certification Program options are partial training pathways that allow students to apply previously completed training toward the 75-hour HCA requirement, helping them avoid repeating coursework and complete certification more efficiently.
This option is ideal for caregivers who prefer a more interactive learning experience and want to complete their required Mental Health and Dementia training through live, instructor-led virtual classes.
This Program Includes:
Core Basic training (excluding Orientation & Safety)
In-person skills lab for hands-on practice
Mental Health Level 1 (live virtual Zoom class)
Dementia Level 1 (live virtual Zoom class)
Core Basic review and final exam
To receive the DSHS 75-hour Home Care Aide certificate, students submit proof of completed Orientation and Safety training. Proof is not required to enroll.
