This program is designed for caregivers who have already completed Orientation & Safety training and want to complete their HCA certification using Nurse Delegation.
As one of the HCA Certification Program options, it allows students to complete the remaining requirements toward the 75-hour HCA certification without repeating prior training.
This program is best for caregivers who will work in home care settings, or who have already completed or do not require Mental Health and Dementia training, and who prefer hands-on, in-person skills practice.
This Program Includes:
Core Basic training (excluding Orientation & Safety)
In-person skills lab
Nurse Delegation Core
Nurse Delegation Special Focus on Diabetes
Core Basic review and final exam
To receive the DSHS 75-hour Home Care Aide certificate, students submit proof of completed Orientation and Safety training. Proof is not required to enroll.
