This learning plan is designed for caregivers who have already completed a population-specific training, such as (but not limited to) Mental Health, Dementia, or Nurse Delegation, and need to complete the remaining requirements for Home Care Aide (HCA) certification in Washington State.

Learning Plans 3–6 are partial training pathways that allow students to apply previously completed training toward the 75-hour HCA requirement, helping them avoid repeating coursework.

This option is ideal for caregivers who want a fully online, self-paced pathway to certification.

This Learning Plan Includes:

• Core Basic training

• Online skills lab with video demonstrations and assignments

• Credit for approved population-specific training

• Core Basic review and final exam
