This program prepares caregivers to complete the 75-hour Home Care Aide (HCA) training requirement in Washington State through Core Basic training, skills practice, and Nurse Delegation specialty training.


75-Hour HCA Training: Nurse Delegation Focus is designed for caregivers who will work in home care or private-duty settings, where Mental Health and Dementia are not required. It is also appropriate for caregivers who have already completed Mental Health and Dementia training.


This option is ideal for students who prefer a fully online, self-paced format.


This Program Includes:

  • Core Basic training

  • Online skills lab with video demonstrations and assignments

  • Nurse Delegation Core

  • Nurse Delegation Special Focus on Diabetes

Upon completion, students will receive a DSHS 75-hour Home Care Aide (HCA) certificate.

Intended Audience: Long-term care workers (LTCW), home care aides (HCA), nursing assistants (NAR/NAC), registered nurses (RN) and other healthcare professionals.
