This program prepares caregivers to become a certified Home Care Aide (HCA), a required credential for working in Washington State long-term care settings. It fulfills the full 75-hour training requirement through Core Basic training, skills practice, and specialty courses.
75-Hour HCA Training: Mental Health Focus is the required pathway for caregivers who will work in residential care settings, as it includes both Mental Health and Dementia specialty training.
This option is ideal for new caregivers who prefer a fully online, self-paced learning experience.

Upon completion, students will receive a DSHS 75-hour Home Care Aide (HCA) certificate.
