This learning plan is designed for caregivers who have already completed Orientation & Safety training and want to complete their HCA certification using Nurse Delegation.


As part of Learning Plans 3–6, this option allows students to complete the remaining requirements toward the 75-hour HCA certification without repeating prior training.


This plan is best for caregivers planning to work in home care settings or those who have already completed or do not require Mental Health and Dementia training and prefer hands-on, in-person skills practice.


This Learning Plan Includes:

  • Core Basic training (excluding Orientation & Safety)

  • In-person skills lab

  • Nurse Delegation Core

  • Nurse Delegation – Special Focus on Diabetes

  • Core Basic review and final exam

Includes In-Person Skills Labs with locations available in Spokane, Olympia, Mountlake Terrace, and Vancouver.​

Intended Audience: Long-term care workers (LTCW), home care aides (HCA), nursing assistants (NAR/NAC), registered nurses (RN) and other healthcare professionals.
