Proper food storage is essential to maintaining resident health and meeting regulatory standards in Adult Family Homes. 

This continuing education course provides caregivers and providers with practical guidance on safe food storage practices, inventory management, and compliance with Washington State regulations. 

Learners will review strategies to prevent contamination, reduce waste, and ensure that food supplies remain safe, fresh, and properly organized.

2. Monitor expiration dates and implement proper storage practices for fresh and dry goods.
