Person-centered care is the foundation of respectful, ethical, and effective caregiving.
This course introduces caregivers to the principles and practices that place clients at the center of all care decisions. Learners will explore how person-centered care supports independence, dignity, and meaningful community living through shared decision-making, respectful communication, and mutual trust.
The course is divided into two parts: the first focuses on core concepts and values, while the second provides practical tools for building healthy relationships and understanding each client’s unique preferences, routines, and life experiences.
This training empowers caregivers to support clients as active partners in their own care.
