This course provides caregivers and healthcare professionals with knowledge of the risks associated with restraints and practical, person-centered alternatives. 


Learners will explore strategies that promote safety, dignity, and independence while reducing the need for restrictive interventions. 


Emphasis is placed on proactive planning, communication, and collaboration to support restraint-free care in Adult Family Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and in-home care environments.
