This retake course is for students who previously completed the Nurse Delegation Core training but did not pass the competency exam. Students will complete the full class again and receive an additional attempt to pass the exam. The course reviews the fundamentals of Washington State Nurse Delegation, including the legal requirements, the delegation process, caregiver responsibilities, medication administration basics, and common delegated treatments. The retake session reinforces the knowledge and skills needed to safely accept and perform nurse-delegated tasks in community and home settings.
