Toileting is a deeply personal activity, and needing assistance can affect a client’s dignity, comfort, and sense of independence. 

This course helps caregivers understand normal bowel and bladder functioning and how common toileting challenges can impact health and quality of life. Learners will explore respectful, person-centered approaches to toileting assistance, the importance of knowing a client’s baseline patterns, and how early recognition of changes can prevent complications. 

The course emphasizes privacy, communication, and professionalism to support client comfort while maintaining safety and dignity.
